Just curious...once throttled, what speeds are you able to get? Does it go under 1Mps?
forme in l.a when i got throttle it was like 20kbps couldnt even load a site it would timeout.

So the answer is a definite maybe.
Cheaper than 5GB Shared.
Only if its your only device. It's actually cheaper if you have more than one and use minutes. My wife uses a lot of minutes for her business, so going to the shared plan will be a better deal for us.
how do you know you're throttled?
I upgraded from unlimited 3g to LTE when the GS3 came out. Up until about 6GBs I was still getting around 16mb/s. Closer to 7GBs I was throttled closer to 1-2 MB/s.
