....will I be unthrottled when I get my 5 tomorrow? I have one more week to go otherwise.

If you're currently on a non LTE plan interesting question. Once LTE you should be bumped to 5GB cap

Yes they do. A different approach compared to AT&T, but they throttle.

Not on LTE, only on 3G. Their lease on the LTE spectrum from the FCC prohibits throttling as long as you 1) have unlimited data, and 2) pay for tethering if you using that feature. If you break those rules they can throttle you for "abusing service" otherwise they can't. They already paid a huge fine for this...

Only if its your only device. It's actually cheaper if you have more than one and use minutes. My wife uses a lot of minutes for her business, so going to the shared plan will be a better deal for us.

I doubt they'd say so otherwise.

If you have unlimited data, and have just a single line, it makes absolutely no sense to go to a different plan. None.

I upgraded from unlimited 3g to LTE when the GS3 came out. Up until about 6GBs I was still getting around 16mb/s. Closer to 7GBs I was throttled closer to 1-2 MB/s.

My phone got really slow around 8pm too, and I'm in NJ. I thought I was throttled but maybe it's AT&T fkin' up. Unless you are on Verizon…. lol
