what a fantastic machine the Mac Pro is. I've been a PC user for twenty years and have built several high end machines but this piece of art takes the prize. I've never seen a more well built machine. The outside looks gorgeous - the build quality would put Lexus to shame with what looks like aircraft quality aluminum. But the inside takes the cake. It's so well designed - adding hard drives is a breeze. A lot of thought went into this - kudos to Apple designers.
Oh - and the operating system is great too. I dual boot to Windows XP (for business apps) and the difference is striking.
    Ah well enough ravings.

PS I could say the same about my MBA too - I've gone whole hog on Apple this last two weeks MBP, MBA, ATV.

MP, MBP, ATV, MBA....you should get a personally signed thank you card from Steve Jobs.
And Apple stock holders thank you also.

    I am officially jealous ;)

It's nice to see someone praising the build quality. I think us Mac users in general can be quite picky, and occasionally we need a reality check to remind us that we're still using arguably the most beautiful computers in the world.

Thanks Student_Trap I just noticed that :). Reminds me of my first computer - a 286 with (I think) 128MB of RAM.
