I Just Have ONE WISH For iOS

All I want to do is to be able to hide the Home Bar.

It’s literally an eyesore and distraction just constantly being present on screen in both orientations.

A setting to turn off the visual / hide the Home Bar would be all I ask for.

It does seem pointless but hasn’t annoyed me like it does you…so far! Probably will now.

This article about it has a way to hide it but it doesn’t sound a very attractive option.

My current theory... notice how it sometimes disappears in landscape but not vertically? It creates symmetry with the notch and Dynamic Island. It's not going anywhere until the Dynamic Island does.

Keep in mind that at least on the iPad, if you’re using a mouse, it allows you to go to the Home Screen by just clicking on it, or clicking and dragging up to access the multitaskin.

But there’s the gesture moving the pointer downwards, and also the keyboard shortcuts so yeah, at least on accessibility there should be a toggle to hide it.

My one wish for so many years is to be able to put icons anywhere instead of just at the top and it seems like it’s finally coming true. So don’t lose hope ye!
