Kinda cool, but the biggest issue is that you can't touch-type it without looking very easily. I'll take physical keys back thank you.
Would you hit on the touch-bar will touch typing? The current systems with a touch bar have a physical key for ESC (and Power).

I'll preface this by saying that I actually like the Touch Bar. My one big annoyance with it up until this point was using it to adjust the volume, as I thought it was a two-tap process. First a tap on volume icon to reveal the volume slider, and then a tap and drag to adjust the slider.

Turns out that I was wrong. This may be common knowledge (and I am just late to discovering this), but you can actually just tap the volume icon and immediately drag your finger to adjust the volume. Works great, and just as easy as having physical buttons IMO.

Anyway, thought I'd share my discovery in case someone else has yet to discover this for themselves.
the only issue it doesnt always work and I have to tap on it twice and them take teh second action of grabbing the slider.

Touch bar is so stupid and its a waste of money on a 2016 and higher. For this reason alone I have a 2015 so Apple won't track me, or force me to use a stupid touch bar which is real garbage.
Well I'm glad you enjoy your laptop, even though it's six years old.

I don't really use the Touch Bar either but I'd rather have a modern laptop with a feature I don't use than one from the middle of the last decade. You got me on the tracking though. I'm currently sat here in my log cabin wearing my tin-foil hat, giving Kool-aid a very wide berth.

But one advantage I have over your laptop - I can upgrade the SSD if I want. Right now, been busy e see developing a UB new web browser for my PowerPC G4/G5 to run on those and Intel.. maybe even M1.

Wow... all these years with the Touch Bar and ... I didn't know one could do this.

I like the Touch Bar - granted I don't use it all that much but I've never had a problem with it. First thing I usually do is turn off typing predictions as that drives me nuts. lol so cool with the touch and drag - works for brightness and mute too LOL. How cool.

Why would @baypharm’s statement make you angry?
Because the Touch Bar is a waste of time plus if that goes, the repair without apple’s overpriced apple care is in the 1000’s ! No, I will wait till Apple decides to end Touch Bar before I buy another laptop.

And because of that you go around being angry about the fact that there are people that like it? Do you always go around angry that there are people happy about things that you don't like? How angry do you get about people enjoying ice cream in more flavours than the ones you prefer?
