I had such a hard time getting over spending such a huge chunk of cash on these things. At first it almost felt ridiculous (I wonder if my knows how much they cost). Now that I’ve had them for a while, I just can’t get over how much I like them. The extravagant price seems worth it for the build quality and how pleasant they are to use.

Honestly, I think that they are the most pleasing Apple purchase yet. Every night, since I’ve received them, I spend an hour or two before bed just listening to a different Mahler symphony. It seems I am constantly hearing something new I’ve never realized was there before.

Glad you enjoyed them. I’ve had some difficulties with mine, but it seems to be working out now.

Love mine as well. I use them all the time for calls and when I have some downtime music and podcasts.

The noise cancellation is great to the point I have been wearing them while vacuuming and using my jet washer!

I also love my AirPods Max. They are still buggy though, especially after connecting them to a PS5, but the software has gotten better. The sound quality is amazing and the headphones sit comfortable on my head.

I just got mine this afternoon after wanting them since the day they were announced. Decided to wait a bit to get a feel for what people had to say about them, and I couldn't hold back any longer with all of the great reviews about the audio quality and the build quality.

I absolutely love them so far! I have had Beats Studio 3 Wireless for about three years now, and I really liked those headphones. I know they are on a different level than the AirPods Max, but they are good headphones. I just didn't realize how much better things could sound! And the comfort...so many reviewers complained about the weight of the AirPods Max, and they are heavier than almost all other headphones out there. However, they are FAR more comfortable than my Beats Studio. I don't know if it is the larger ear cups or the mesh band (or a combination of things) but I have had them on for a couple hours without any discomfort. My ears and jaw would start having discomfort with my Beats within half an hour of using them.

Plus, they just look fantastic! I don't see how anyone could pick them up, put them on, and not be impressed overall.

I hated mine, the ANC wasn‘t working, and it didn‘t sound better than my studio headphones connected to an audio interface.

Hopefully the ones I get now will be better.

I’m sure you’d love a pile of **** if apple sold it
Wow... That is quite a nasty comment!

If what you are saying were true I’d own everything Apple makes. In reality, I have no interest in a HomePod. I also will never buy their upcoming virtual reality headset.

I just happen to like my AirPods Max more than any other Apple product.

Yeah I got some a few days ago with Apple Cash so I guess they were "free" - I don't notice the weight, they are extremely comfortable, the AirPod magic works just great, and the sound is amazing.

Your right. Sorry. I notice they are much heavier than my Sony XM 4’s

I assume you have no issue with the weight?

The weight took a little while to get used to. I worried it would irritate me but now I am used to it. I look at it as a result/side effect of the excellent build quality (which I am very impressed by).

I like your stand. I would like to have one too but I’m afraid that my cat would then consider them a fun toy and (and might damage them). 😊

How were you listening to music before?
I have some AirPods which are good but the low frequency response is much better on the APM. I also listened to my computer speakers (AudioEngine 5+). The APM just sound better.

Actually, the weight still does bother me a little bit. I do not like walking around when I have them on as the weight makes me think they might fall off (especially if I lean over to pick up something from the ground). Although I will admit that I’ve never had another pair of over the ear headphones. Maybe they all feel that way?

I imagine that my wife would definitely not like them because of the weight. I think they she would feel the weight would give her a headache if she wore them for a long period of time.

No, not all headphones feel like that when properly fitted. Some do of course, the APM are not unique in their weight. My wife is 100% out on the APM due to the weight and comfort.

What bugs have you experienced using the AirPods Max with the PS5?

Yup, I just got mine yesterday. I normally can't wear headphones - Sony WH1000X4 or the Bose NC700 though they both sound fantastic, give me ear fatigue and soreness after using them for less than an hour. I've had these on for several hours and they don't bother me as much.

Sound and call quality on these are great and I have renewed appreciation for music and movies on sounds I haven't heard when I was using earbuds or even my AirPods Pro.
