iPad Pro I just ordered an Apple Pencil Pro, and Paperlike screen protector.

Yes, pre-ordered even before the new iPad was out, got it in last Wednesday.

How is it? East to install?

I installed the Paperlike screen protector.

Not only does it stop my pencil from scratching my screen, it also feels nicer when scrolling with the finger.

Surprisingly easy to install.

Yeah, not too hard. I do it in a quiet dust free room, I take my time and I’m prepared to lift a corner and with tape remove dust particles. But I’m really particular about dust underneath.
it doesn’t scratch with regular use. But a grain of sand between the folio keyboard and the paper like and then you are in for some serious scratches. I think it will be less with the new mkb as the keys and aluminium don’t touch the screen. Just a rubber ring around the keys.
We’ll see how it goes.
But I’m also replacing the screen protector every 6 months or so because I use it such a lot.

All matte screen protectors affect the clarity of the screen. Some worse than others. Since it’s so subjective as to how much you personally would tolerate, it would probably best to order the screen protector and see for yourself.

I found if I hold it close to the screen, like near the bottom of the pencil as I write it provides decent resistance like paper so I don’t use a screen protecto.

Yes, it does, it can’t be helped, it’s the physics of it. But the “nano-dots” that paperlike uses (they say it’s made in Switzerland, so it must be good 🙂 ) are the best and distort the least afaik

I've used that trick when I had a tempered glass screen protector on, but it gives me cramps in my fingers and hand when I write more than halve a 11” screen page. And as I write on average 3-15 pages a day, it’s not a good solution for me.
