I did the switch my My Precious 17" PB almost 12 months ago - and am still very much in love with the PB, with OS X, with everything!
I have since switched a few mates as well, and I'm very Mac proud. My 17" PB still amazes people when I pull it out at work or elsewhere.

I even felt compelled enough to put the apple sticker that came with my iPod on my locker. I hope they don't scrape it off during the summer! There's just something about Macs.... the elegance, the OS, I even recently began developing for OS X and XCode has been great to me. I do a TON of Final Cut Pro HD editing for school. (I'm in charge of the morning news, and a kid's TV show we produce.) The school's A/V is loaning me a 17" PB next year until summer.. I think I'll cry when I give it back.
