I tend to disagree. They will deliver them early. I am betting Wednesday or Thursday at latest for the ones in prepared mode at present time.
Mine's preparing too (64GB Gold, wi-fi only) with the delivery estimate between 22nd-24th. It's coming to here to me (obviously) in London.
I ordered a 128 GB Gold iPad Air 2 Sunday night (last night) on Apple.com Store, and just received an IM from Apple a few minutes ago that it will deliver tomorrow. NOT SHIP, BUT DELIVER TOMORROW. Less than 48 hours from online order to delivery isn't bad, and that's the way it should be.
My last 3 Apple purchases have all arrived BEFORE the estimated delivery date, even on Saturday using standard shipping. I NEVER order on the initial launch day but always wait 48--72 hours and always order online from the Apple store web-site. YMMV
NOTE: Original estimate at time of order was 10/23--10/27.

Well I think you might be wrong, Apple didn't give a definitive date for launch this time around unlike previous product launches.

I just went to the Apple iPad site and its still says 2-4 business days before shipping and you are saying it will arrive tomorrow?
False unless you can proof it with documentation and of course black out your personal info. Otherwise it is NOT TRUE.
My shipping estimate is 10/22 to 10/24. My order is preparing for shipment. It would be nice if it would just deliver already.

well he has text notification turned on in your account. It could be done. You just have to turn it on and associate your cell phone with your account.
If the shipping estimate is 10/22 to 10/24, if they have the ability to ship it out to meet the early date, Apple should do that. Otherwise, what is the point to pre-order if we all have to wait until Friday.

I placed an order for a iPad Air 2, 128gb WIFI only, in gold, this afternoon and it says that it will ship in two to four days and will arrive between the 24th and 28th. I am hoping for the 24th. My husband ordered his from Best Buy today and he can pick it up on Friday. He ordered the iPad Air 2, 64gb in Space Gray, WIFI only. The one that I wanted was going to take longer and had to be shipped, it could not be picked up. Since BB did not give an estimate of arrival date, I just ordered mine from Apple. At least a have a time table.
My Air 2 Smart Case shipped Friday and I received it today. I got that shipping notice at around 7 PM EST on Friday, so if the iPad itself ships tonight, and if it ships from the same place, then I could have it tomorrow. I doubt that'll happen though. I'm expecting Wednesday at the earliest.
I ordered on the morning pre-orders went live. Mine is still "processing" with an expected date range of Oct 23 - Oct 27.
So I'm guessing he's trolling hard.
What are your thoughts on the new case? Did you have a previous one to compare it to?
yea i got the gold 64. Currently preparing for shipment. Delivery is 23-27. Commonnnnnn apple magically ship it in the next 30min with red alert overnight!!
