I'm west coast also, and those are my arrival dates even though I ordered at 8:03am. I think we're just further from the warehouse.

ETA:
I'm Seattle area. It seems it's not the west coast with the later dates, it's just us in Seattle. :(

You would think so but on the web site it says that engraving take 2-4 days to ship and if you skip engraving its 4-6 days. Not sure what that is about?????

Yeah, my theory is that Apple is shipping these from warehouses in the delivery country rather than drop shipping direct to customer from China. That saves Apple a ton of $. They are just using the standard CYA delivery window, but I believe most will ship out next week. In the U.S. Apple has a few regional warehouses (TN, PA, CA) that are no more than 2 shipping days away from most addresses. The exceptions might be some very rural locations, esp in the NW states. But I would be the vast majority of people who preordered today will get delivery Th-Fri no prob.
