After all of the mention of the 24th being removed from the site, I just realized the significance of the repeating release date of all of the iPhones and also the Apple Watch and probably other Apple devices is Steve Jobs birthday, which was in Feb.

Oh Apple, you heart felt bastards.

It appears the stuff on the website saying Available 4/24 is now gone. It now says "The Watch is Coming" and "Preorder Online"

I just checked my own order and nothing has changed there.

No, I don't mean orders, just why is so big that apple misses the 24th release in store for one of the first times.

Nothing on your order will change until mid next week when orders start shipping for Friday delivery.

I did not expect delivery to slip. Was just commenting that the verbiage on the website HAS changed. Not being in the stores to buy them at first does not break my heart in the least. I always thought that it was unfair to those of us who cannot get access to the stores and had to wait for committed pre orders for weeks while thousands of scalpers flocked to the big city stores.

I doubt that they WOULD but they COULD allow deliveries earlier if they wanted. It seems the software is out and available and that the watches are appearing in the hands of the rich and famous already.

EARLY release could generate just as much TV news as the stupid stories about people waiting in lines for days.

All the change indicates is that there is literally no chance for anyone who hasn't preordered to get it on the 24th.
