I am watching the Big Bang Theory an they just played a FaceTime commercial. The one they played at the WWDC keynote. Has anyone else seen it on TV? Has anyone else seen an iPhone 4 commercial? I haven't seen one, just this FaceTime one.

You mean the one where they hold the phone the way they're not supposed to.

That wasn't funny. The "holding the phone wrong" jokes are getting old.

Well I cede to your self-appointed status as arbiter of 'funny'.

But it wasn't actually a joke. It was a serious point.

The ad shows people holding the phone covering the 'gap'. Apple has a problem. A phone which has a major flaw and they are not addressing the issue.

So despite the first point I really don't care if you think it is funny or not.

I thought you were talking about a Big Bang Theory episode where they held it wrong because you replied to a quote from the show. I'm sorry.

FaceTime calls are made over WiFi, so they are allowed to hold it any way they want without the fear of a dropped call due to a loss of cell reception.

Is it just me or does the deaf guy look like Matt Damon?

Is it the same one as on the Apple site? I can't imagine sitting through a 2 minute ad.

Yeah, its that one. but with all the money apple made on the iPhones, they can afford to pay for a 2 minute commercial spot.
