Okay, so tonight I noticed that my new iPhone 3G had a "Slide to Unlock" button on it. Well, just out of curiosity, I slid it and now I have an UNLOCKED iPhone 3G! This is awesome! The iPhone is so much more useful now! Check it out, I can use the Internets, and watch movies... gosh this thing's cool!

Try it out! It's amazingly simple.

Yeah, it's a joke. I chuckled to myself when I did it. I though others might find it mildly amusing.

I tried this with my car and it worked too!

Like I said, nice try. ;)

Perhaps other people haven't already seen this one. It'll be new to them... Kind of like a pre-owned joke, eh? :p

Haha! I hear all this crap about unlocking the 3G and while I never really thought about it until tonight... that's about the extent of software-unlocking right now for the average 3G owner. Hehe.

I have unlocked everything then :D

My iPhone
My front door
My car
My back door
My back window
My bathroom door
The toilet stall at work
A jail cell

Oh the list can go on and on, but unlocking the iPhone is the best :D

with X10 and an iMac, I can "software unlock" all of these (except the iPhone, which I just slide my finger on it :D)

Hehe... I don't know. I was jailbreaking my 3G iPhone and when it rebooted, I was greeted with "Slide to Unlock" and I thought... wow, how convenient... I have to share this with my friends on MacRumors.... so I did.
