I just wanna play music ... iPhone 5

Please tell me I can disable all cellular data and use the music in my phone (like an iPod).
I Mtn bike ride and don't want to use data and more often am out of range / service anyway...
I just wanna listen to my music and ride...
Anyone?

You can put the phone into airplane mode and that would basically turn it into an equivalent of an iPod Touch.

And as long as your music is ON your iPhone you can use the music app to play it. That's the key factor there.
