It is definitely working for me. Got an Amber Alert today. Scared the crap out of me.

I got an alert in Georgia yesterday. I think a kid went missing. I wish they set it up where if you touch the alert you get the full story of the reason for the alert. In my case it just went away when I switched the phone on.

Those of you getting the alerts through iOS which carrier are you on? I have AT&T and get nothing. 🙁

I think it does, I've seen the settings in my friend's iPhone (on Verizon) in Notification Center, but I do not have it on AT&T.
