I switched about a year ago, from building PC's, troubleshooting, etc. So I went on the typical PC forums; anandtech and hardforums to name a couple.

Everyone on PC forums is angry and they always have to make you look like an idiot, and usually don't answer your questions.

On most Mac forums I have been on, everyone is for the most part nice. I havent gotten responses that are full of hate.

So like Apple products, I am satisfied with my experience. :)

I've noticed the same thing on video game forums. That's why I stopped going to them. Hell, if you take a gander at the gaming sub-forum here on MR, it's like it's own little world filled with angry bitter a$$holes.

What the #=(( are you talking about, you eedjit? ;)

Well, I tried, but I just couldn't fake the PC forum experience.

There's definitely a more helpful demeanour among the Mac users I know. It might be related to the higher average IQ, it might not, who knows?...

You know, I think its because windows is just sooo difficult. You never can really learn it all, and here, its fun to play 'teacher' some times because you can see the lightbulb turn on whne people learn something. I don't know of any light bulbs that work with windows. Probably the wrong driver ;) :D

Perhaps. Or maybe since we're a smaller group we're a little more closely knit. Either way, it's awesome.

This post is a complete waste of space. Why would anyone take the time to post something so useless? Why don't you do us and yourself a favour and bugger off back to the other forums!?

Only joking!! :p :D Yeah, Macrumor is great. :)

It's true. Us Mac users must stick together. :) We all share an obsession...er...um...interest. ;) I mean interest.

Just make sure you do a search before you post something to make sure the topic hasn't already been covered... or the kind people here will rip you a new one. ;)

Other than that, yeah people here seem to be a nice bunch. :D

That's proper etiquette for any online forum. I say let'em rip'em a new one.
