Since I have installed Mavericks, I suffered from losing my external HDD partitions several times. Though I managed to recover my data, it really annoy me . Anyone have same problem? Why does it happen? How to fix it? Please help~ :)

P.S.: I'm using 2010-mid MBP and WD MyBook 1TB

Funny that I also lost my partitions I think on, believe it or not, my WD MyBook RAID Drive.

Mine has not been so easy to recover as yet, still doing a recovery on it using some new software, nothing major lost but more of a inconvenience.

Thx guys!
Actually, this situation had happened to WD mypassport 1TB at least twice. And it happened to WD mybook for mac 1TB (I did no RAID on it) last night. I am using Stellar Phoenix Mac Data Recovery to recover my data now.
