He didn't blame blackberry. He was just showing how this is not a "new" problem for cell phones. They all have "weak spots". My sister has a bold, and I replicated the death grip on it, and the bars dropped. So it does indeed exist on it as well. It simply isn't a huge public affair unless it's an iPhone issue.

Not really. He was just stating a fact. I can "death grip" my iPhone at my house... No bars dropped, but when I am at work and "death grip" it drops bars (less cell strength). Same holds true for the other phones he gave an example of.

It's a combo of the antenna and the cell strength.
