Damm do I hate this 8x drive!! 😡 Time to buy an external 16x-20x burner and try to cool down. I hate my Windoze box, but at least it had a 16x burner on it. 🙁

A $49 External Drive at Best Buy will do you fine. Unfortunately, 8X is currently the fastest available for slot loading drives.

I used an external pioneer DVD Burner as I disliked the internal Imac one and also didnt want to wear it out 🙂 mind you I rarely burn disks anyway LOL

If anyone is interested in Toast Titanium then Smith Micro are offering a very good deal to buy it. Outside the USA and especially in Europe many software companies like to DOUBLE 😱 their prices. I really hate it, it's a rip off. For those outside the USA the below link offers Toast at a price cheaper than what people in the USA have to pay for it on the Roxio home page.
I bought it from there and am very satisfied. Stores here in Norway are selling it for up to 1100 Norwegian kroner about 200 dollars, on the below link I paid about 400 kroner for it, almost a third of the price.
