i LOVE my iMac, do you love yours?

The imac rocks...however how do you "wake" it when the screen goes in to black screen/'sleep'/energy saving mode???

I try pressing buttons and clicking the mouse...but it doesn't work 😱

can anyone help please??😕

I think it is a setting in the system preferences, 😉 I know how to wake my iPad.

I don't "love" inanimate objects, no do I find them "Sexy" as so many Apple zealots do.

I do however, thouroughly enjoy using them in the manner they were designed for.

Modern dictionaries will show that there are multiple definitions for these words. It is expected that the reader select the appropriate definition given the context.

Disagree. For the quality and size of the display you get with an iMac, I find iMacs a huge value compared to other Macs.

yeah ive got to agree, because if you look at the base price of a mac mini its bl**dy expensive! and by the time you add a cinema display its cost you more than a iMac with less specs to play with! this is what i got on my desk right now...

Absolutely love it. Upgraded to 27" 2009 i7 from a G4 800mhz and can't stop staring at it...

Yep, definite case of love here too. I've only had my 2010 i7 for a few days and already I can tell that I will never buy another kind of computer again.

For so many years I did the whole stupid Windows thing of putting up with the inumerable issues that manifest. The slowing down, the long startup and shutdown times, the networking nightmares every time I wanted to share a file. It never ended.

But now I have my iMac and things just work. I set up my wireless printer in 10 minutes. I installed software and uninstalled it and nothing happened to my computer. I dont need to check the task manager or kill the spyware running in the background.

Yep, I'm in love. I went through the hassle of installing an SSD and it was well worth it. The boot times are crazy fast and the machine runs dead silent. I feel like I'm really in the 21st century now.
