I got a 32GB Wi-Fi iPad last week and I'm loving this thing :D. I had slight buyers remorse when I kept thinking that I dropped $600 for this thing but I've been using it a lot everyday and it's totally awesome. The browsing, the video, the overall experience is completely intuitive and I now understand what you guys were talking about when you have to use it to "get" it :)

I got this thing when I knew about the 256mb of RAM thing and the iPhone 4 having twice as much. The only problem is, the iPhone 4 will NEVER have this large screen, it'll never have the "laid back" browsing experience the iPad has :). I've got an iPhone 4 reordered and I'm sure I'm going to love it but the iPad is king at my house and the iPhone will be king when out n about ;)

The iPad does everything it does beautifully and will continue to do so even after the iPhone is widely available. There hasn't been a day in the 6 weeks I've had mine that I haven't been impressed by a feature of the iPad. My wife loves hers even more.

The iPad is talk of the town. Everytime my iPad goes into public. Damn it's a conversation starter. Everyone wants to hold it and touch it. I love this damn thing. I don't have a son yet but for now my iPad is my son.

    Hello.

Yay! I love my iPad too! The 3G works just about anywhere and 16gb is plenty for my needs

Yes, the iPad is a wonderful device. It might really be "The Next Big Thing" as was intended.

Like most other Apple products, it's important to IGNORE the "Numbers" like system memory, CPU speed, etc.. and focus on what it actually can do.
If you start playing the numbers you'll end up buying a non-Apple product that despite looking better on paper probably won't do half as much or half as good.

    Enjoy!

I am enjoying it as well. At first a device based primarily around digital consumption seemed unappealing to me, but what I like most about it is the little things like yahoo's tv guide when i am watching tv or actually looking forward to new comics which I haven't done since i was 12. My gf enjoys using it as a virtual cookbook, the only thing that could make it more perfect imho is if it was completely waterproof/shockproof

    Thank you guys :)

I was very indecisive about getting one at first. I think it was the confusion of where it would fall in terms of usage. Ive got my iPhone with me 24/7 but mostly use it when out and about but browsing on the iPhone was getting a bit long in the tooth.

What screen brightness do you all have it set on? What's the best battery/screen brightness combo?

I love mine too! :) I didn't think I'd have a use for it but bought one anyway for development, and I must say I adore the freaking thing :)

Just got mine today, and it is really a remarkable device. I was not expecting to be this impressed, but it does everything so well.

I can't imagine emailing on anything else now. I was using it to send work emails at the end of the day today, and the thing just flew, and was a joy to use and organize with.

It feels so solid in your hands. The native apps are really nicely designed. Browsing is really a new experience. Websites look fantastic on the screen.

And the screen is really gorgeous.

I went to answer a text message on my iPhone and it felt shockingly small and limited.

The entire experience thus far is so much greater than what I was expecting.

Can't wait to grab our iPad --but thinking we'll grab the iPhone 4 first. Who has the best iPad accessories?

I got the exact same one you did and felt the exact same way on the drive home. "Did I really just drop the better part of a grand on this...?" However, I find myself now taking notes on it for everything...work and personal. I find myself reading a LOT more. I really feel that I will get every penny's worth of usage out of this device!

    iPad is.. kinda meh

its a freakin indoor device! i have to change brightness settings every time I change location (whether going from inside to outside)

i know many of you will pan me for this: but tablet devices are hard to use for long periods of time. you guys know it. its a bit uncomfortable holding the device more than 10 minutes, even with the iPad at 1.5 lbs!

i limit ipad usage within the bedroom/bathroom/car (while im stuck in traffic)

but lets give it to apple, they made the first multi touch tablet device for mainstream use at an affordable price. that cannot be forgotten.

Love my ipad as well !! Never thought I'd use it as much as I do, really.. Bought it because it's a really cool gadget, but now i'm finding that I always prefer my iPad over my 1 month old MacBook Pro to browse the web while kickin' it on my couch watching some tv.. This video shows EXACTLY why I love it :) !!: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-BpIc53XBM
