Glad that you are liking you new MacBook Air. I picked up a 15" one a few weeks ago and I have absolutely no regrets.

I'm so torn between the 14" MBP and the 15" MBA.... I can get them for basically the same price.... except that the pro would be from the refurb store. On the one hand getting the extra specs and performance of the pro for the same price makes it seem like a no brainer... but on the other hand I compared both at the Apple store and the MBA screen seems so much bigger, plus the thinness and weight..... I'm not a power user by any means so I am slightly leaning to the MBA, as a lot of the power and capability of the Pro would probably go unused with me.

It's a tough choice. Keep in mind that the 14" screen is smaller but higher quality and basically same res as the 15". It does have other advantages. But it definitely has less battery life.

1000% this on the battery life. I had the 14" and sold it to get the 15" when I realized I typically got 2-3 more hours on the 15.

I would strongly suggest 15" MBA. I would only go 14" MBP if you are a professional video editor or something similar. If you need the pro you know why. Otherwise, the 15" will be much more enjoyable to carry around and use.

Having had both, I have a fully loaded 15 air 16gb 1tb, its the exact same price basically as the on sale new M2 pro. (which I had) - I love the larger screen, prefer keyboard on Pro and screen! I feel the air screen is a little "fuzzy" and no I dont need glasses :) - The pro is just snappier (hardly can tell a difference). I still worry in 4 years if I sell the Air it will be woth SO much less than if I would have had the M2 Pro 14...

you don't need to be a pro to own a pro lol, same as iPhone/iPad pro
pro means better more features etc
if only proffesional video editor's bought pro's they wouldn't sell many
