I just killed my os 9 install, and i spent over 6 hours working on geting to running, augh.....

well I am back to the drawing bord,

DO NOT USE IDEFRAG ON A OS 9 PARTITION TO MAKE IT BIGER.. DO NOT

just just kiced my self in the ass

Still have it on my iMac G4 (my all time favorite Mac, design wise).

Don't forget VoicePrint Password. Although it never really worked for me, it was cool.

YEAY!,
I got mine to reinstall, I got the "big morals " problem installing and it turns out its my cheap mitsumi floppy drive... I hate china...

but i found my coppy of virtual pc and i am installing windows 98 on an g3 imac XD

I like MacOS 9 too, very much! Sadly I haven't used it in a long long time! Come to think of it, there aren't many systems capable of running OS9 nowadays and they're getting rare by the day. For me, I only have a PPC 7500 (OS7.01) and the good ole G4 Cube and both of them have been packed away in their boxes. Perhaps one day I'll be bringing them back to life when I have some spare time to kill.

Being an old school user, I have loads and loads of software for OS9 much of them archived on cover cd's from the likes of MacWorld. I still have the much of the Macromedia Webdesign suite of tools.

Errr.. Why would anyone use iDeFrag on a OS9 partition? Why on earth didn't you use Norton's Speed Disk for Mac? It's much better and it actually works!

I liked the eyes in Systems 7 and 8, but my Blueberry iMac DV running OS9 didn't have it and I had no idea it could be had via a simple download.

Check out this emulator for System 7.0.

And this site has some good screenshots.

I still have all the Macs listed in my signature. OS9 was my favorite, although 7 and 8 were perfect for Oregon Trail and The Secret Island of Dr. Quandary.
