The new photos app has seemingly put photos, which windows had incorrectly dated, into chronological order with their correct date....I'm so happy...the struggle I had trying to figure out the real dates of these photos from years ago was beyond me, to the point that, I gave up and was too sad to even look at my photos. iPhoto's didn't even help in sorting them back in order...thank the gods for photos...
