Wunderlist is the go-to app for me. I really hope to see some Siri developer APIs in iOS 9, so that these features are not exclusive anymore.

+1 more for Wunderlist. And with their latest update they added Folders and a nice QuickAdd feature which automatically recognizes dates, etc. also over speech.
And their UI/UX team is one of the best in the App Store - all for free.

Surprised that no one mentioned this earlier. I think this weird passbook-like interface is downright terrible; it doesn’t feel right even after the 100th time. I think integration with Siri is a good start, but it could be a lot better. You can’t seem to use Siri hands free and ask it to remove or mark existing reminders and when you ask for your groceries list, it will only read the first few items and then always ask ‘Shall I continue?’. (Not to mention that Siri won’t work without a data connection, which happens in some larger supermarkets to me.)

Yeah Siri APIs are on my fairly short list of iOS 9 feature requests. I'm hoping mostly for bug fixes and optimizations, but Siri API, split screen multitasking for iPad, better file management, and ability to replace default apps would be icing on the cake.

And yeah, the passbook cards type UI is weird. I only just figured out recently that you can also tap on the top of a list card to close it instead of using the tiny cards hitbox along the bottom of the app. Unlike most 3rd party apps that give you a brief overview of how the app works, Apple doesn't do that. So you don't really know about little tricks like that unless you hit it accidentally or mess around with it a bunch. It has neat capabilities but the UI itself needs work.

Am I the only one who has to restart my phone in order for reminders to show me the icon badge?

I love the Reminders app!

I'm also a big fan of the Reminders app. I use it everyday. But unfortunately my geolocation feature doesn't work too well. For example, I'll set a reminder to appear when I get home and when I actually do arrive it's pretty hit or miss if it'll actually go off. I don't think it's my GPS either because the built in Maps app had no issues locating me nor do any other location based apps. Already tried toggling location services for it too.
