So this is in no way sponsored by Pock. I actually just donated to the developer. But I just picked up the 16", replacing my Late 2015 Core i7 Radeon machine. Gonna miss the SD card reader, but that's about it. Overall this is a stellar machine and after downloading Pock I cannot see how anyone would dislike the touch bar now that the ESC key is physical. Pock is what Apple should of done natively, and honestly cannot see why Apple hasn't built this into the core OS. It just makes sense and is the perfect use for that screen. I love seeing the little Photoshop icon or Final Cut Pro icon, it shows off the type of display it is.

I highly recommend downloading it, Catalina compatibility seems good, all that needs to be changed is there currently is a software ESC key that cannot be turned off (not needed for the 16") but I'm sure the developer will be quick with the update to resolve.

Side-note, I love Side Car so much (Gen 2 12.9). It's amazing. Latency is really low for me, and it's great to have two high quality similar color accuracy monitors within a pretty light weight overall package. Can see myself using it often.

Thanks!

My problem with touchbar isn’t that it doesn’t display what i want, but that it displays anything at all. I look at the screen, not the keyboard, while I’m working.

Still looks like a neat app.

It is actually somewhat useful I have to say, at the very least visually appealing. In reality though it is a feature that is already solved by simply pressing command tab. It looks cool though lol
