This is from the VIP room at the upper East side store in New York City. I love the coordinated shot of the Mac, iOS devices and the Watch. It matches what Apple shows on their online store site. I think Apple could/should make a national marketing campaign out of this.

I think it's pretty cool. I wouldn't mind replacing my white/silver iPhone and iPad with the space grey models as they would match closer to my MacBook Pro and Stainless Steel Apple Watch. Granted it's not the same as having a space grey MacBook and Apple Watch Sport but it would be close enough.

VIP room? Barf.

First off, it looks like a dentist's office waiting room. Secondly, who exactly are the VIPs allowed inside?

Everyone under the age of 30 certainly thinks they're a VIP these days, especially the ones on the UES. Certainly a couple of chairs and a couch can't hold all of them.

Agree there's a nice harmony in the VIP posters and the website. Funny to see this thread today because I was out at a restaurant with friends and we were sharing photos on our cell phones and I couldn't help noticed how nice my AW SS w/WSB looked with my white/silver iPhone 6+ in it's Apple white silicone case. I had on Birkenstock leather sandals that were white too and overall it was a nice look. At home I have the silver MacBook Pro Retina. My iPad 2 is black however. Will update it when the larger one comes out that has been rumored (so no idea when that will be) and guess I will have a color choice to make. Not so sure it matters to me (always has a cover on it), however having the watch band and phone which are always with me in close proximity tie in together is more noticeable and visually pleasing.

I did not realize that store opened already. It is dangerous for my wallet because it's only a few blocks from my office. Is that an orange sports band in the photo? I hope that means more colors are coming soon for the sports band otherwise why show something which is going to be unavailable.

Does anyone else think that watch strap in the first image looks like a red sport or leather loop? :O

They're fantastic. It makes me want to buy matching devices and use the same color wallpaper on all of them. And only listen to music with the same color albums.

Not really. Matching works well in marketing shots only imo. Looks tryhard in real life.

Some people like to live in chaos and others in tranquility. Some like lots of color in their lives and other prefer more monotones. I am loving seeing what people are choosing in watch cases, bands and faces. And despite what some may think about Apple users all being the same, we are not. So much individuality and creativity expressed.

I noticed that. My iPad case is that color red, at least where it hasn't faded because leather, but damn I want. I also love the move to color matching the MacBook with iOS devices. Problem is I chipped mine a little bit in the first month so I found some $25 case for protection. If Apple wants to really go nuts, it should make some Otterbox-quality cases for everything.

When I went yesterday, they were letting all and sundry tramp through the room. It used to be the bank safe, and they still have the safe door there. I amused myself imagining shutting that door on a roomful of self-imagined VIPs. ;)

But how are they going to use that room once the novelty has died down? Not sure.

They've had these "They work beautifully together" on the main posters in stores for about a month. Well I saw them in the Santa Monica store over a month ago.

Apple Edition try ons and business meetings; serves the same purpose as the standard Briefing Rooms I believe. Nothing illuminati/NWO going on in there. At least I think.

There's something very Best Buy/Verizon-y about putting framed posters of the stuff you sell on the walls of a lounge type waiting room.

NOT publicizing a VIP room is so much more VIP. It's all quite cheesy IMO.

Between VIP rooms, randomly buying Beats, and that Jon Bon Bovine Iodine guy or whatever his name is, I'm sensing a really weird misguided shift in Apple these days.

I hope that's a red sport band, but is it possible it's actually a pink one?

My Apple Store has the coordinated watch/iPhone/Mac posters down the sides or did I miss something....?

Am I missing something ? Looks like a room with 2 apple posters. Apple retail stores have better vibe.
