I miss yahoo messenger chat rooms

Im about 2 months in from switching from a pc to a mac......and i 100 % love my new macbook.....1 thing i do miss...seems that yahoo messenger for mac does not have access to the yahoo chat rooms....is there any equivalent i can use?

Can't you access those on the Yahoo website? I wouldn't know, the only group chat I do now is on IRC.

yeah on the pc version you can access the rooms thru the application....is there video chat via irc?
