so, when I tap on a link in safari, the usual behaviour is to automtically open a new tab and load that page, what happens for me though is that it opens the tab but the page doesn't load, it's just blank.

The only way it works is if I tap and hold and tap open in a new tab.

Anyone any ideas?

This is iOS 5 btw!

I know this isn't what you were looking for, but I have to say it's a beta... You're experiencing a bug. So...

...*shrug*

Thanks for the reply.

I would normally accept this, and appreciate betas will have bugs.

But I have had this bug for the last 3 or 4 betas and I don't seem to see anybody else having any issues like this. Just kinda hoping I'm not alone haha

have you tried totally redownloading the beta and reinstalling it fresh, and then not restoring from a backup (setting up as new)? This should fix the problem, as it obviously isn't present in all the betas downloaded...so you either have a bad download, a corrupt backup.......or the absolute weirdest hardware malfunction I have ever heard of

You should correct your title and say iOS 5 beta and not iOS 5. As far as iOS 5, it is not out yet for general public. The bug will present on every OS beta.
