I need a brief lesson on recalibrating my pro's battery

So i've been reading that you should recalibrate your battery every month. Exaclty how do I do this? I read that you let it die complety them charge to the full potential. Does that mean I cam play with it till it dies and then recharge it or do I let it sit with all my powersavers off and wait? Can someone answer please? I would greatly appreciate it!
