So, this thread is pretty ancient, but I figure it's worth a shot.

Would anyone be willing to email me the classic system folder or send it to me over AIM? I can't seem to snag a copy no matter how hard I look.

I need to use a program that requires classic with no work around.

I too would like to know where one could nab the Classic System Folder...

Also, since it's not for sale anywhere, and Apple has stopped supporting anything and everything running it, what sense would it make to think it's pirating. Unless they haven't done with it what they did with 7.5 etc. and made them free.

Good lord, you're not exactly a newbie are you? 2001?

I was simply checking to see if it WAS a valid request.

A lot of companies I know of that discontinue a product and throw out their support manuals... usually don't give a crap who's using it and how.

...and yes I've been a registered member here since 01 :) I tend to lurk more than post.

I see this post has been going on for quite a while... Well, it happens that I have not backed up properly and lost the classic system folder.
Just wondering if anyone would still be interested to divulge an old zipped up Classic system folder and throw it towards me. Antiques are hard to come by. Any help appreciated. :)

Have system folder, will share

I know where you can find a System Folder for Mac OS 9.2.2

My email address is bizzeebeever "at" yahoo "dot" com. I will send you the link. If there is a virus in it, i will personally fly to your city and commit harakiri on your doorstep.

(P.S. People have sent me spam at that address in the past. They are no longer alive. Just a warning!)
