I need a digital camera.

I'm looking to spend around $100... What's the best deal I can get? I'm not huge into photography, but I want something usable for graphic design projects/ebay auctions/vacations/whatever else. Suggestions?

ummm $100... my guess would be ebay....
That samsung would have been a steal... although no optical zoom, i guess you could crop and enhance in photoshop....

You can certainly get a good USED digital camera from eBay. I suggest for those who ask a Canon S40 or S45, S400, or A75 or A85 as excellent picture takers that can be had for cheap <$100. My S400 for example is still my point and shoot work horse that cost $400 new. It is worth far more to me as a camera than I can get for it on eBay ~$85. Compact flash cards and batteries are also inexpensive on eBay for these models. As you can probably tell I am a Canon user. There are also some Nikon models with the same characteristics as I described. With $100 RESIST the urge to get a new camera, all of the models in this price range will not produce quality photos. Remember also that a high # of megapixels does always reflect a quality camera. 🙂

I have a Nikon L4.. or 4L.. something like that. It was $200 at wal*mart, $150 on amazon.com, and I know the price has dropped since I got it (last I saw it for $150 at walmart). It's a nice little camera and it takes good pics. The only down side is no audio in movie mode... but oh well. I'd sugguest that if you can find it on amazon.com for around $100..
