I need a graphics app..

Hi guys,

Not sure if there's such an application or utility to do this but..

I need something which can take a grey scale image (or even colour) and using the levels of grey it'll produce an image which has levels of transparancy..

If that makes sense?

Basically, it's so I can create iPhone tabbar icons much easier.

Thanks, I've heard that's quite good.

I'd rather not have to sell a kidney to fund that purchase though 🙂
