Since TMobile also has a GPS service and Blackberrys, you should be fine unless they charge for it, which I don't believe they do. :)

Thanks! I just googled with little success, but they do mention something about GPS and the Pearl 8120, but not the 8110. Here's the article. Can someone else verify that the GPS function with an unlocked BB Pearl 8110 (not the 8120 or 8130) works with T-Mobile? It's not that I don't believe you, Mr. Giver '94, but I would like to have more than one person to verify because I'm a bit paranoid. :)

No prob. I'll look into it more for you. :)

Okay, so I searched and found out that GPS is built into the phone and that it will work regardless of the carrier. The difference between the 8110 and the 8120 is that the 8110 has GPS support but not WiFi. The 8120 has WiFi but no GPS. They did this to make it sway people to one network over the other. (GPS AT&T or WiFi hotspots TMob)

Since the phone you are buying is unlocked, it (and GPS) will work with either carrier because the GPS is a built in feature of the phone and not based on the network it runs on.

Hope this reassures you. :)

Well you said you might go with the next gen iPhone, why not just get a Nokia? They have really good prices for their features.
I was deciding between a couple Nokia's and the iPhone, but in the end I went with the iPhone just for the touchscreen.

I know Nokia makes great phones, I had one before my current dead LG. The Nokia I had, XpressMusic something, was kind of bulky but was good quality. Unfortunately, a friend cracked the screen but I was abled to replace that myself. Nokia's smartphones are more expensive that their regular phones.
