You mean like a screen shot? You can use simple keyboard shortcuts:

• Command + Shift + 3 for the whole screen

• Command + Shift + 4, press spacebar to select seperate windows, menu bar, dock, etc.

• Same as second one only click and drag a selection instead of pressing spacebar.

Or you can use Grab located under Applications > Utilities.

Hope that's what you meant :)

Even better is Grab. Look in your utilities folder. Its much more flexible that the command shift options
