I need a really fast answer: Installing RAM

I just got my replacement MBP (wow, its beautiful!!! 😀 )

I have 1GB stock RAM, plus a 1GB chip sitting around from my last MBP. Shall I install the extra RAM before or after I install OSX? Does it make any difference whatsoever?
