Ok here goes I got a I phone 4 (verizon) jailbrook it with green posion (on line{} and I went to restore the phone to factory settings and it locked on the start up screen.. I want to restore it to factory or at least get it to work again HELP!!!

Did you restore it with iTunes?

No did it from the phone on the restore phone.. then I tried I tunes and it still stays on the hack apple (green posion logo}

I would recommend restoring it via iTunes. This way, the iPhone would be restored to its original condition without a problem. When I restored my iPod touch on the iPod itself like you did, it went into a "Boot Up Logo" loop, which repeatedly displayed the Apple logo over and over again. So I suggest just restoring it with iTunes.

Put it in DFU-Mode. Google it, if you don't know how to.

And NEVER reset your iPhone directly from the iPhone. Jailbroken or not, it's a waste of time. Use iTunes instead.
