Definitely. I'm actually thinking myself about getting a Classic in addition to my iPhone.

I'm hoping someday to get an iPhone in addition to my Classic. lol. Stuck with Verizon until 2010. 🙁🙁

Am I the only one that doesn't use his/her iPhone as an iPod? Personally I don't I will until the iPhones have a lot more memory like 32GB+ and until they have better battery life.

The Classic has a better Sound Chip than the Touch, but the Touch's features would make me choose it anyday.

16GB iPod touch sounds perfect for you, that's what I have.
You may want to get the 32GB since all your music is lossless.

i actually decided on the Classic and I will buy it today. Since I have an iPhome already, the Touch seemed pointless.
