    I am looking for some software that will allow me to drag images into it and it will allow me to create a custom link. Meaning Example:

    <img src="http://xxxxxxxx.com/folderX/IMAGE GOES HERE">

    So what I need is to be able to put the first part in the software and drag the image into the software and it makes me a custom like with the new image replacing the IMAGE GOES HERE with the actual image name.

    If you know of some custom reference link creating software please post it here.

    THanks in advance

    Not sure if I'm completely following you, but are you after how iWeb lets you add images where you can just drop new images on top of the existing ones? Also, are you wanting to this as the designer, or for visitors on the page to do be able to do it? I use BBEdit for my designing and development and it lets me drop image files from Finder into the editor and it will put in the source code for the image, but it doesn't replace any existing code, but it's easy to delete a line of code.

    Angelwatt,

    Thanks for your reply. Okay let me try to be more specific, I think that will help. I have been creating ad's for craigslist. You are allowed to use your own images if you want and can use a img src tag to reference them on your server. I use GarageSale and have my own FTP server setting in there so they have image wells where I can just drop the image in and it will upload them to my server and create the reference links on the fly.

    Craigslist there is no posting software out there as we speak for the Mac unless I am missing something, so, I have created my own work around. What I need is a piece of software that I can drop the images into it and it will create the src img link reference string for me. I can't just drag the images into craigslist window because it will reference them on my desktop.

    I know there has got to be some piece of software that will create these for me, I am sure I am not the only web designer that could use this feature right now.

    Let me know your thoughts
