Hi, I was looking for the Itunes status indicator and I found some great apps but after hearing from people using QuickSilver I made up my mind. I have the latest version of QuickSilver installed with Plug-in for Firefox, NetNewsWire, and Ituens. When I googled about this QuickSilver feature of Itunes Indicator, it told me to make sure I have the Plug-in and such but never taught me how to set it up.

I am really frustrated since it ISN"T WORKING!!

What am I doing wrong and what do I need to get it right? Thanks.

Quicksilver instructions tend to follow the "trial and error" philosophy :-S

Firstly, go to the QS Preferences section, and click on the iTunes entry. Make sure "Monitor Recent Tracks" is ticked, and "Display Track Notifications". Then click on the "Handlers" and click on the "Notification" section and choose "Quicksilver (Built In)", or Growl if you have it installed.

There could be something else to check but that's all I can think of for now. It does work, but you sometimes have to poke QS a bit to get everything playing nicely.
