I bought the SGP Steinheil Ultra Crystal Mix for my iPhone 5. The installation of the back cover went flawlessly. The front looks terrible. How can I fix it now that it is on the phone? I tried taking it off, rinsing the cover, cleaning the phone, and putting it back on, and it is still rubbish looking. I have tape, an air-can, spray, cloths, and all that at my disposal. How can I fix this?

I'd appreciate any help.

One you put on the protector once you cant really take it off again and reapply without bubbles.
I have the tech armor screen protectors for my iPhone 5 and they work perfectly with no bubbles.
It looks like you have the clear one so here is the tech armor one that i have. You get unlimited replacements so don't worry about retrying:)

Take it off the phone and apply tape to the WHOLE sticky side of the screen protector. Then press down to make sure all the dust and lint adhere to the tape. Now clean the phone and peel the tape off the screen protector. Apply the protector to the phone BUT DO NOT TOUCH THE STICKY SIDE. I see some fingerprint marks on your picture so I stress don't touch the sticky side.

I apply screen protectors by slightly bending it in a hot dog format and making sure the front facing camera hole and home button line up. Then push the whole thing down and if you have dust or lint apply a little piece of tape to one corner and lift up enough of the protector to get the dust with another piece of tape. Repeat until all dust is gone.

I tried the wet install and it looks much better now. I might try again to get it lined up better and do a slightly better job. Here it is:

I'd leave it alone. Especially after multiple attempts, you can damage the adhesive on the edges and those may not stick 100%. As long as the working screen area is dust and bubble free, call it done. Keeping on going probably isn't going to make it better.
