Looks like the regular charger for the iPhone. If that's the case, this adapter will not charge the iPad.

I just bought some that look identical to the iPhone chargers on eBay for real cheap. It will charge the iPad, the iPad will say not charging because it is not giving it enough juice to charge as it normally takes. If you plug it in over night it will charge. The iPad charger is something like 2100mah while the iPhone charger is only 900mah or 1000mah basically it just takes longer to charge the iPad but it is still charging it and it is not harming the iPad.
