So I sold my iPhone 4S in anticipation of the new iPhone, and I'm using an old Moto Backflip as my temp/backup. This thing is, well... DESTROYING MY LIFE! This might as well be considered the first Android phone ever. It's so slow, has negative functionality, and is stuck on 2.2 froyo. This is going to be the longest three weeks ever.

Please help. Entertain me. Tell me everything will be okay. Empathy is appreciated. :apple:

Silly things... like worrying about how you'll survive 3 weeks without an iPhone? Something tells me you'll still manage to breath oxygen and consume vital nutrients even in the absence of your beloved phone. Best of luck!
 
You didn't have to sell your 4S before you get the iPhone 5. You're going to save, what, $15 compared to ebaying it two months after its debut (waiting out the flurry of used 4S that flood the market).

The deed has been done, though. The only thing to do now is feel sorry for myself and seek empathy from others.

I'll go cry in a corner now.
 
i am in the same situation. i sold mine for $475 though. after all the costs, i got about $400.

so i don't know...maybe worth it?
 
I did about the same thing last year, only I think mine was worse...went from my iPhone 4 to my ancient motorola razr flip phone, now that was misery. 3 weeks of thinking oh I can just use my phone to.... awww crap. It was very similar to walking into a room and flipping on the light switch even though your baby's mama hasn't paid the electric bill cuz she needed formula instead...err or something like that. Was not worth it. Will not do again.

No lie, that's the phone I was looking to get. But people want $50+ on CL and I'm not paying that. I'd rather have a non-smartphone that is speedy in texting and calling versus something where the text input lags and such. It's hell on Earth.
 
Luckily I still have an HTC Rezound laying around that I haven't sold...After I get my new iPhone 5/6 :D I will sell that puppy.

Yeah I sold my ip4 back in July and have been suffering with my old super slow ip3g since so I understand your pain. This money is burning a apple hole in my pocket.
