Tap To Click

Boot Camp Preferences In Control Panels Worked For Me Too. I Still Can't Get It To Right Click Though And 2 Finger Scroll Is Way To Sensitive.

Well if it's any consolation the multitouch trackpad update for the new unibody Macbooks broke tap to click. Every time you use two finger scroll to scroll a web page, for example, it also pops up the right click menu since tapping the trackpad with two fingers acts as a right click. Before the update this problem didn't exist because it was broken in another way and you had to use three fingers to right click instead. The only "fix" is to turn tap to click off, so it's not like the unibody is an improvement over the plastics in this case.

I haven't had this problem with my Unibody MB, running Windows7 under BootCamp

Thank you! I just bought a used MBP 15" and was going nuts with the trackpad in XP. Now, tap to click, 2 finger scrolling and right click all work; although, as noted above, 2 finger scrolling is VERY sensitive and tends to give the right-click menu. The solution seems to be to turn off secondary tap under 2 fingers; you can still scroll with 2 fingers but need to right-click for secondary click. Maybe not perfect, but not too shabby, either.
