Hi all, I need a cell phone now as I have my Sony xperia arc from 2011, I now on the AT&T prepaid, and I love the network as it strong here in my city, I would told you what I can afford I can afford about 25-50$ monthly or 400-450$ to buy it cash, I'm going towards the Iphone 6 plus as I don't convinced with the 6S, what is your recommendations?

You need to clarify your specific needs/wants if you want recommendations.

What do you mean by "I don't convinced with the 6S". What are your specific concerns with the 6s?

I would say if you can afford 25-50 a month then get the 6s plus if you want the bigger variant of the phone. The normal 6 plus only has 1 gig of ram and it definitely shows. The newer models have 2 gig and it makes the phones memory management much more capable, as well as, making the phones more future proof.

what about the battery life I heard it is worse, and what you recommend AT&T plan I think it goes beyond 80$ monthly?

I need the phone specially for reading e-books and articles, using social media, watching videos on youtube so I think I should go for the 64GB version?, But I can't stand to pay 40$ only for the access charge of AT&T, You think I should go with T-mobile installments?

Can't you do your own math on what makes sense for you economically?

As far as "needing" the phone for ebooks, social media, and watching videos on youtube... You can do all that with an iPod.

You are right now I think of Ipad Air 2 as it will be cheaper and I don't need it all the time to be in my pocket.

This is great. Go to an internet forum and ask a bunch of anonymous strangers how to run your life, make decisions for you, etc. Precious.

The iPad and iPhone are quite far apart in terms of how they're used. I'd advise thinking a lot more about what you're really wanting before you spend any money. Nobody can tell you what's best for you until you figure out what you want the device to do.

First I don't want to cost a lot to buy a phone, and I will be busy to use it on work, So my usage will be at home and outdoor in restaurant or club, so what is the best option for reading and videos and social media and writing on forums?

I wouldn't take an iPad into a club

I have an iPad Air 2 and find myself hardly picking it up since getting an iPhone 6s Plus. I would suggest you go into your nearest Apple Store and play around with the display models.

I considered getting an iPhone 6 Plus instead of the 6s Plus. These are the 3 reasons I paid a little more and went for the 6s Plus.

1. 2GB Ram (twice the ram)
2. 7000 Aluminium (no worries about it bending in my pocket)
3. 3D Touch

First off, for your purposes (as stated above), virtually any phone will work for the phone part. You don't need an iPhone 6 or 6s.

Second... Phones aren't optimal for lots of data entry (i.e. writing in forums). Even reading forums can be a pain because of the smaller screens (IMHO). An iPad is much better for that. An iPad is also much better for watching videos.

However... An iPad is not as portable (they're not really pocketable, even the mini's). It's not socially correct to haul out your iPad at a restaurant and hack away at it. However, it's not polite to use your phone and ignore people around you either... It's just less obvious. :)

You could look at an iPad mini. More portable than the Air's, more functional for some of your wish list items, cheaper than an iPhone. But then you're not going to be making many phone calls on it... Which is kind of the purpose of getting an iPhone. You don't even mention calling or texting in your wish list.

How is that? I choose iphone 6 and yes it with 21$ but after that I have to choose the plan and I don't mind pay 30$ for 2 Gb so I choose that and end up with 40$ access charge what is that?

Here is it, I choose the plan and installment and look how much they added, that is to much for me and for a phone I don't call or text that much, and I always use the pay as you go, I have found refurbished Ipad Air 2 64 Gb for 500$ from Apple store I think I could get a Motorola and still under the price for the Iphone 6 Plus and the costly plan. what do you think guys?

That seems to be well over your initial "$25 to $50/month" OR $400-$450 budget, and you haven't even got a phone yet. Just saying...

If you're going to be using it in the club, I'd recommend a 6s. It's more portable than the 6s+, has a good front-facing camera for selfies and a good back camera for group pics. If you backup pictures and videos regularly, 64GB will be perfect.

If you back up regularly, wouldn't that mean 32GB is enough? (I have 32)

Yea it's 21 dollars added on to the plan you have but if you don't have one yea you have to add that. It's not cheap. Try straight talk, 45 dollars a month unlimited talk text and data. Check it out might be right up your alley, good luck with your choice.
