Yes I know Im on a dinosaur. But this dinosaur still works. Done all the replacements myself. :)
So my M4 MBP is on the fritz again. I cannot reinstall from recovery. It gives me an error. DFU would be nice but my daughter with the M2 is gone. So the only thing I have left is my old dinosaur.
I have the installer.pkg in my downloads folder. I already got the USB erased and on journaled. It's all ready to go. But I cannot install sequoia on my dino because obvious reasons. Does anyone know how to create a bootable installer from this old of a computer??
thank you so much

NVM I SAW I CAN INSTALL INTO APPLICATIONS... I will use normal sudo script.

for anyone wondering, install the my installer.pkg it will place into Applications
then use

Code:
sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Sequoia.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/MyVolume

to create your bootable media. Pretty straight forward!
