Hi all.
I've been having this error coming up frequently for the past time, where I am forced to restart my computer and loose all unsaved data.
I have no idea why this happens. This is where you come in!
Also, I am a blackbook owner.
My error rapport looks like this:

Code:

Looks like you have Norton Antivirus installed on your?

Try uninstalling that and making sure all vestiges of said product is removed. I see that there's references to symantec kexts in your dump. Norton antivirus is not a good product for Macs. IF you must have an antivirus app, there are better alternatives. I suggest given the dearth of malware that you don't even need any such program.

Kernel loadable modules in backtrace (with dependencies):
com.symantec.kext.ips(1.2f28)@0x685000->0x6a3fff
dependency: com.symantec.kext.internetSecurity(1.1f10)@0x67c000

Remove Symantec Internet Security, including the Symantec kernel extensions. This software is probably useless junk.
