Just got an iMac 24" and I have installed parallels on it running windows and Ubuntu. Wondering if theres is a way to get 8.10 ubuntu to have screen res of 1920x1200.

    Thanks in advance :)

Yes, i tried running it in fullscreen mode, but it displayed as a small screen directly in the middle of my monitor with black everywhere else around it. the highest it can go is 1240x800

1920 res, add more video memory assigned

    http://kb.parallels.com/en/5765

According to the kb, the default assigned memory is not enough to support 1920 resolution, but adding some MB will do the trick.

    Hope that helps!
