What point are you making? My point is it's not worth the risk to use it in the shower when Apple clearly states not to.

Apple also clearly states not to submerge it at all, even though it's officially rated as water resistant to 1 meter for 30 minutes.

While it's not rated against pressurized water (showering), it's just a "cover your ass" strategy on Apple's part in order to discourage customers from doing these things.

I don't wear my AW in the shower as I see no reason for it at all (and don't work out with it), but I can understand the circumstance in the OP where it would be advantageous to do so right after working out. It'd get rinsed under running water anyway.

"Pressurized"...

If the water isn't cutting your skin or crushing your lungs, it's probably not going to hurt a watch.

OMG lol great response! I wonder for those having the AW living on the edge lol, will the warranty cover water damage??

That's a dope avatar (pun intended). Artistic Bender

It take 5 seconds to take it off. Why even risk it over 5 seconds.

This. All the debating and potential broken watches. For the sake of 5 seconds just take that bad boy off, if your worried. If not then keep it on. And if you do always clean your hole out for suds. And yes I know that sounds dirty :)

Only reason I ever wear it in the shower, which I can count on a one maybe both hands, is so that I can get the full credit for my raised heart rate after a work out. I usually try to let my rate calm down before the shower but sometimes time isn't on my side and I want full credit for the raised heart rate.
