ditto,

if its bothering you then just turn it off and dont asssign it to any key or corner.

i switched from windows to mac about 6 months ago...and the first thing i noticed was how much easier to use it over windows. I use expose every minute...it is so handy! I hav a USB mouse, and i have assigned the scroll wheel to expose all windows if i click down.

It will be interesting to see if windows Vista can top OSX's Expose with its 'Flip 3d'

I'm surprised no one's mentioned putting Expose into ones mouse buttons.

I also use Expose about every minute of my Mac'ing (only All Windows and Desktop, not App Windows...). But I've turned off the corners, and assigned the two Expose features to my Logitech MX510. One of the "Press Scroll" button, and the other to one of the top buttons.

And as much as I love Expose, I dislike Dashboard. Turned that off after a couple months.

CMD+` = flip through windows within a single application.

THANKS! :) did not know about that one. As for Expose, I love it. I have it set for the default keyboard commands but I typically access it with my mighty mouse now.

Hmm...I never really found a use for "Active Application Windows" but maybe thats just because I have never used it.

Start typing an email. Have another app take focus (thus sending Mail in the background).

Aside from moving windows around (which I hate doing), you can't Command-Tab back to the "new Mail" window, only "Mail". Gotta use "Active Application Windows" to see the "new Mail" Window.

I've also mapped Exposé "All windows" to the side-button of my Logitech mouse. The scroll button is too slow to map it to anything (can't double-click it, have to wait like 1 second to be able to click it again or else OS X just doesn't register the button press).

Expose is amazing. I feel naked when having to use a Windows PC these days. In some ways I wish MS just jacked it for Vista, but all theyre getting is a fancy version of ALT-TAB.

Speaking of which, Expose has a few cool little extras I didnt know about, but most of you probably will. Like hitting tab when in Expose to flick through them, Flip3d-Vista style. Or doing the slow mo thing holding shift while pressing F9.

Ive been trying to think of ways to improve it. One thing I would like to see comes from the CMD-Tab function. When pressing Cmd-Tab you can go to an app and while still holding Cmd, press Q to quit that app or H to hide it. Saves having to right click on the dock or going to each individual window. I would like the same functionality in Expose. Just mouse over an open document and hit Cmd-W to close the window and boom its gone. Or Cmd Q to quit etc.

As for the thread starter - hot corners are OFF by default. So just switch them off lol.

Would that be because you are naked when using your PC?:D

Anyway, I think the way to improve it would be to have windows in the same program be grouped together like all your stickies windows all together, safari windows all together.

Also, smaller things such as an iTunes controller stay in basically the same place each time wherever that is on the desktop. Consistency would make it easier to choose. Sort of like when dashboard comes up you always know where to expect things- I know you have differenet windows open when accessing Expose, but often times a user will have the a few of the same windows open. I always have the itunes controller in the small version and two sticky notes always open and access them often.

I also think when you mouse over a window in Expose it should not only show the title of the window but the program it is in. I know I often have an email and a word docuemnt that might be titled very similar and would make it easier for me to choose when I have 6 or 8 windows open at the same time.

Oh yeah grouping of windows belonging to one application is a must.

I would like to see Expose introduced to Safari, like Shiira has done.

I would also like to see Single User mode come back on steroids. PArticularly for people like me on a 12" screen. I like to have just one window visible, meaning as little clutter as possible. The option-cmd-h function is great, but I want to be able to say, switch from iTunes to Safari in one click, but keeping just one window open. So one hides when the other appears. I can see the number of people using this as minimal though, so I wont hold my breath.
