And it was perfect out of the box! White, 64GB Verizon. No wifi issues, screen issues, etc. It gets warm when playing games...but who isn't expecting that? Having a lot of fun finding apps for school/games/books/etc.

Anyone recommend a good app for..medical school or any schooling in particular. So far, I've heard that Notability is the best. Just want second opinions!

:) Honeymoon iPad period.

Cool story, Bro.

If you want an app to write/draw with, don't get Notability or DocAS. They're very bland and the writing engine is laggy and unpleasant. My best writing experiences have been with Wacom Bamboo app (free but very simple - few features) and Noteshelf (very beautiful app with loads of features). Penultimate is probably marginally behind them. I don't know if writing experience is any better on the iPad 2012 (I've got iPad 2), but Noteshelf does a great job.

Medscape, lexicomp, epocrates, harrisson's, medical calculator.

Medscape is a must-have medical app (diseases, drugs, medical news...) and the best thing about it is that's it's free :)
